First Family Ski Trip

We took our first family ski trip on Saturday. Having great success with the first trip Dad took with each of the kids, we thought it was time to get all of us up there together. We went up with Kevan & Judy's family to Bogus Basin for a little night sking fun. By the end of the night, we were so thrilled out how far both Brittanie and Nathan had come. They both could ski down the "coach" hill on their own and really started to love going fast.

Both kids are really excited about skiing and can't wait to be able to go again. We hope to get up there a time or two before all the snow melts this Spring.

I think that Nate has been watching more than the weather on the news channel in the mornings. He must have enjoyed the olympics. "Look Dad, No poles!" Nice snow plow, Nato. And Brittanie, "You have wonderful form. I am very proud of you. Actually, I wish I could do as well as you. Ask Mom what "good form" means, she will let you know it is good... Knees bent, relaxed, traveling forward while going down hill (something that I think her father was not doing, if my guess is correct), staying out of the trees. What more could a grandmother want. I think the next birthday trip will be hitting the slopes somewhere. Thanks so much for sending the videos our direction. Grandpa was really pleased to see his little angels swishing down the slopes. Just think, he will never yell, "Single" again. Love and kisses.
