We've had a fun filled last couple of weeks. We spent the 4th of July out in Wayan where we had our annual 4th of July Parade. Reluctantly, I am posting a shot of my patriotism! We had a lot of fun hanging out with family, playing games, and lighting firworks.
The next weekend we had Julie and her three kids come over for the first annual Star Hometown celebration. Saturday morning was a fun run and Natalie ran along with Nathan, Brittanie, Hallie & Brynn. They all had fun running and Hallie, Natalie, and Nathan all took home a little hardware from the event. Brittanie performed with the Star Performers that night at the barbecue. The pic I loaded shows her enthusiasm with singing and dancing. This was the third and final performance for her this year. She did great and loved every minute of it.
I also loaded a couple of pictures of the kids playing outside in the backyard. They loved having their cousins come over to play. They are looking forward to the week in Pocatello with their cousins and Grandma & Grandpa later this summer!

LOVE your outfit Scott...where'd you get those sweet boots?
What a full week. My eyes may never be the same after seeing Scott in that WILD WIG. Nice. My is Zack growing. He is going to be a heartbreaker. And I must say, Brittanie's middle name needss to be changed to "Drama, Drama, Drama". She is eating up this little Singing Gig. I am so glad that you found something like this for her. He has had just enough dance to not be falling over her own feet, and the "pipes" to belt out a good song. I bet she loved the wireless microphone pinned to her lapel. COOL STUFF.
Nate must have been practicing on that trampoline. He is quite a gymnist. Eves open, feet up, smile ready. He is quite a showman himself. Thanks for the cute post, Scott. Do you still get to blog for Albertson's? Love you all. Stay cool. If you get too hot, follow Nate's example. Love you.
Nate: Congrats on the race. You are such a little stud. I never came in first in anything, especially not running a mile. Good going. Mommy said you got the first place metal for your age group, 5 and under, and that you ran the entire way with a big smile on your face. You need one of those fancy frames like your Dad and Mom have, don't you. Take care of your feet and legs because I have a feeling you will be running a lot of miles in the next 12+ years. Maybe one day Daddy will take you to run on that Blue Track at Boise State. Cool.
What a fun couple of weeks! Wish we could have caught you guys over 4th of July, but we were back in AZ watching the skin melt off of our bodies in the heat :). Anyway, we're so excited for next week! We head to Pocatello on July 24th and will spend the week there before Boston. I can't believe its finally here!!!!
